Construction Management

Construction management combines the skills necessary to lead a project or an enterprise with the satisfaction of being involved in the building process. Although construction managers rarely pound nails or pour concrete, they influence, oversee, and help execute every step from start to finish. That's why our program integrates the fundamentals of construction itself with the applied business skills required to effectively manage the business of the built environment. We prepare students to work in a variety of positions, from field managers and project engineers to general contractors, facilities managers and safety directors. Many graduates go on to successfully operate businesses of their own. All are uniquely qualified to handle the challenges they will face in the ever-changing construction industry.
